"Freedom of Flight" Collection shoot

The collection of textiles I have been creating for the final major project of my Textile Design degree is based on themes of flight, wings, freedom, aircrafts, flocks, etc.

I have created and am continuing to develop fashion accessories, textile jewellery and garments in a kingfisher colour pallette, inspired by flight!

I did a shoot of some of the collection so far today. My friend Leah, modelled for me, and working in fashion herself was great helping with styling etc. Leah's blog - http://patricia-kate.blogspot.com

I don't want to give too much of my collection away at this point before my big launch at my university degree show in June (http://www.dmu.ac.uk/faculties/art_and_design/degree-show/index.jsp)...

.....so here's a little sneaky peek at the shoot styling.

Inspiration for location and wild summer feel, breeze, meadow, etc.
