The Spring 2011 runway is just amazing!
I'm loving the cutwork and different materials through the collection...
the butterfly wing dress bodice is so beautifully delicate!
Loved the hair too, a really unique lattice look

'freedom of flight'
Starting my final major project and drawing to the end of my uni course this year now!
My concept is 'freedom of flight' - wings, flocks, aerial views, jets, hurricanes, anything which moves through air.

Rowan Mersh
Have just finished my dissertation (hooray!)
It was a case study of this guy - truly inspirational sculptor who works mainly with stretch jersey in these series'
Unexpected materials (toothpicks and CDs inside!)
and the way he uses the female body as a frame for his sculptures makes them instantly couture fashion material!
