Collection Photoshoot

I have been busy making more neck pieces and capes for my collection as degree show is looming!

A couple of things have changed during making these pieces, including my sudden want to shoot my neck pieces for menswear accessories as well as womenswear.

So yesterday I conducted a shoot of my products with male and female looks.

Graduate Fashion Week appearance!

Two of my neckpieces will be featured in this year's De Montfort University stand at Graduate Fashion Week in London this week.

Look out for the monochrome style stand with neon lighting, these two babies will be exhibited along with my business cards, CVs and boards in the DMU Fashion Fabrics and Textile Design portfolio.

Final Collection hand in

I have been a busy bee for the past 16 weeks beavering away on my final major project for my university degree.

I have created a collection of accessories and fabric lengths, which I handed in to my university this Tuesday.

Over the next 6 weeks before degree show, I will be expanding the collection further.

British Fashion Council Graduate Day

Tomorrow is the British Fashion Council 'Colleges Council Graduate Preview Day', 

An event which happens every year to "give industry professionals an opportunity to assess the talent due to emerge from the UK’s top fashion colleges as well as to foster relationships between graduates and the industry". 

My work has been selected to go and be part of De Montfort University's fashion portfolio!

 From my collection portfolio

Industry press and buyers attending include: Vogue Italia, Elle Magazine, Marie Claire, Evening Standard, Max Mara, Matches, Harrods, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols, Browns, Topshop and Warehouse. 

So it's a great promotional event! Hopefully someone will spot my work, love it, and take home my CV!
